Oppurtunities......If U have them......then Grab them !!!!!!

"Opportunities"

A young man wished to marry the farmer's beautiful daughter. He went to the farmer to ask his permission. The farmer looked him over and said,
"Son, go stand out in that field. I'm going to release three bulls, one at a time. If you can catch the tail of any one of the three bulls, you can marry my daughter."
The young man stood in the pasture awaiting the first bull.
The barn door opened and out ran the biggest, meanest-looking bull he had ever seen. He decided that one of the next bulls had to be a better choice than this one, so he ran over to the side and let the bull pass through the pasture out the back gate.
The barn door opened again. Unbelievable.

He had never seen anything so big and fierce in his life. It stood pawing the ground, grunting, slinging slobber as it eyed him. Whatever the next bull was like, it had to be a better choice than this one. He ran to the fence and let the bull pass through the pasture, out the back gate.
The door opened a third time. A smile came across his face. This was the weakest, scrawniest little bull he had ever seen. This one was his bull. As the bull came running by, he positioned himself just right and jumped at just the exact moment.
He grabbed... But the bull had no tail !
"Opportunities Are Like Sunrises, If You Wait Too Long You Can Miss Them".
Life is full of opportunities. Some will be easy to take advantage of, some will be difficult. But once we let them pass (often in hopes of something better), those opportunities may never again be available. So always grab the first opportunity..

Moving to 30s.......so sad ........pity on u !!!!!

‎29-30 is not a nice age for a man.... your ex-gfs are getting married , Your career has just started, Elders treat you as unproven theorems, College guys feel that you are too old to have in there group... You seem to enjoy both cartoon and news. You can no longer eat whatever you wish without putting on weight. You are not invited for weekend cricket matches .
Every Aunty you meet asks “agla baby kab plan kar rahe ho...!!” while uncle asks “Career ka kya socha hai beta…yehi ya kuch aur ???”. When the reality is that you are just riding the wave and going with the flow. You have all the confidence in the world but little achievements to show,
You already have the first hand experience of life , You know that whatever you have been taught about the world in school has been sheer waste of time. You can be denied a job even after passing the test and you could be given a job if you know someone placed high enough… Politics till now was a dirty word but now you feel it everywhere.
You know now love is not that blind and that friendship has its terms and conditions. . You know there is nothing for granted and free lunches are not free. Your overconfidence is now making way for a humble conscience. . You now know it is not exactly what we thought it would be.......................

how we focus on what not to focus?

A guru told his disciple to meditate on anything, "But do not let the monkey come into your thoughts. Meditate on anything you wish, just not the monkey."

"That's easy," thought the disciple. He sat day and night but all he could think of was the monkey. He closed his eyes and the monkey appeared. Traumatised by the monkey, he came to his guru in the morning and told him that while he tried not to think of the monkey, all he had done the entire time was to think of the monkey! The guru was not surprised.

He knew the power of exclusion. Then why did he suggest the monkey to the disciple? "In reality one cannot live with just what one wants to live with. To be able to steer your mind away from that which is not desired to that which is desired, is the true art of meditation," the guru pointed out.

How to deal tough times !!!

if you are going through hell, KEEP GOING
Last spring I was walking in a park. A short distance
ahead of me was a mom and her three-year-old daughter.
The little girl was holding on to a string that was
attached to a helium balloon.
All of a sudden, a sharp gust of wind took the balloon
from the little girl. I braced myself for some screaming
and crying.
But, no! As the little girl turned to watch her balloon
go skyward, she gleefully shouted out, "Wow!
I didn't realize it at that moment, but that little
girl taught me something.
Later that day, I received a phone call from a person
with news of an unexpected problem. I felt like
responding with "Oh no, what should we do?"
But remembering that little girl, I found myself saying,
"Wow, that's interesting! How can I help you?"
One thing's for sure - life's always going to keep us
off balance with its unexpected problems. That's a
given.
What's not preordained is our response. We can
choose to be frustrated or fascinated.
No matter what the situation, a fascinated "Wow!"
will always beat a frustrated "Oh, no."
So the next time you experience one of life's unexpected
gusts, remember that little girl and make it a "Wow!"
experience. The "Wow!" response always works.

Some poems that have always revived me........whenever I was down with the life !!!

compiled by Kamaljeet Sudan

Time to Make a Move......Time to go for a Movie

By Kamaljeet Sudan

I have been a movie buff right from my child hood days. I remember going for the movies those days was a special delight for me as a kid. Though things have changed a lot in comparison to past, yet the word MOVIE still at times, reflects same passion, same joy and same happiness as it used to do earlier. The methods to promote movies were quite different then. There were ordinary vocal announcements and mouth to mouth publicity, not like the trailers or promos of todays time.
Watching movie then was not less than a festival, where the intervals were eagerly awaited, because thats when the pop corns and colas were to be offered. I dont exactly remember how much did it cost but yaa they were not for free for sure as they are today. The concept of movies for free has changed the eagerness and excitement towards movies a lot. The IT Set up today has made it possible to watch any movie what so ever without even paying. You can download it from any dark net source or get pirated versions or movie warez providers, but it can't replace the fun and family closeness ties the movies provided earlier.
Weekend is on the way, so I am surely looking to go out for a movie though haven't decided yet but will go through certain reviews. I would surely tell which movie I did choose and what I drew out from it. I was just thinking to watch out some trailers and decide which movie should I see. Fortunately, I have found a good website(http://filmowepasje.pl/index) which is helping me a lot to figure out which movie I should see this weekend.........It can provide every type of movie stuff whether it be action, romance, thriller, horror or drama. Let me decide and i would let you know what did I choose.

Stressed? Worried ? No Focus ? relax.......this is how you chill out your mind...

Mind is the deepest commodity found in this world. I have chosen the word ‘commodity’ here for mind because Mind is the organ of the body that sets the tone for all the trades the life sets with its surroundings. If you can think about it, you certainly can do something about it. There were some lines in once heard by my teacher about mind which I still reckon “If you can’t make a castle in your mind, you will never ever do it on ground”. We have often heard about the words like Mind games, Mind power, Mind lessons, Mind teasers. All these terms lead to single direction, i.e. Ability to think, concentrate and comprehend.
But how to embellish the power of mind and relish its core efficiencies, well that’s what I want to suggest for the moment in this blog. Today, lives are hectic, schedules are frantic, daily routines are chaotic and ambitions are frantic. To get out this weird, vicious cycle you just need to chill out your brain and relax your mind. Well that’s what I am going to share with you. There are numerous methodologies to relax your mind…….Here’s a couple, uncomplicated and anytime to perform methods….
  •    Watch your breathing. It’s the basic step to relax your mind. When ever you are disturbed, excited or tense, your breathing will be shallow. Just catch this trait. Breath deep, deeper and deepest.  You would instantly began to reach the state of calmness.
  •    Visualise. Visualisation is other tactic to calm and relax the mind. Guide yourself. I know its difficult. But a little progress everyday adds up to big results. Guide yourself to an imaginary situation. Close your eyes and Imagine…………Good weather………….. nice wind…………. green scenic beauty………birds chirping………….. water splashing beside……peace …..harmony…….silence…….calmness………… I know as soon as you would close your eyes, a sudden thought will come of the dog barking outside…..black color dog……you were once bitten by a dog at John’s house…….John has a cute sister/brother………John’s all sisters are cute……..they are all cute like pussy cat dolls band girls……..Pussy cat dolls band rocks…….rock salt is not in kitchen…….SUDDENLY….oh my gosh….wherez my Calming down of mind………….DON’T PANIC….that’s how thought pattern in mind works. Just gather your self back and start again. Practice will make you perfect and focused.                                                                                                                         Try out this methods, especially if you stressed out, encountering problems of deviated focus or giving some exam like stuff. I am sure it will work out. It surely did for me.
Joke for the day:
Three Yogis are doing meditation in a remote cave. One day a sound is heard from outside the cave. After about six months, one of the yogis says, "Did you hear that goat?" Once again, there was silence. About a year later, one of the other Yogis says, "That wasn't a goat; it was a mule." Again, there was silence. About two years later the third yogi says, "If you two don't stop arguing, I'm leaving."
